Henstaff Construction Ltd Is a Construction Company based in South Wales and was established two decades ago.Henstaff Construction Ltd is committed to delivering high standards of corporate governance and a key element of this is managing the company in a socially responsible way. Henstaff Construction Ltd aims to employ the highest ethical and professional standards and always to comply with all local laws and regulations applicable to our business; it follows that Henstaff Construction Ltd is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities and its supply chains. This commitment is emphasised in our employee training programmes and company policies. Henstaff Construction Ltd also expects the same high standards which we set for ourselves from those parties with whom we engage, such as our suppliers, sub-contractors and clients.

Due to the nature of our business and our approach to governance, we assess that there is very low risk of slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. However we aim to periodically review the effectiveness of the relevant policies and procedures that we have in place.

All our employees are paid by bank transfer, we do not allow payment to be made into third party bank accounts, thus minimising the risk of forced or compulsory labour and vetted for the right to work in the country where they are employed.

Where employees require a work permit/VISA we ensure they have the necessary documentation in place. As a responsible employer, we take the welfare of our employees seriously. We actively encourage employees to report wrongdoing (including exploitation) in any form.

We vet our supply chain, and all operatives on site are required to hold CSCS cards, which in turn require National Insurance numbers to aquire, offering another layer of reassurance towards non direct employees.

We will actively reassess and develop our Modern Slavery Policies, and will update as required to meet changing conditions.
